on a brief side note: 63 ounces of diet coke the night before a run means DEHYDRATION the next day for 14 miles. phew! can we say di-u-re-tic?? :) (and yes, i knew ... but c'mon! a girl needs to indulge every once in awhile, right?)
Holy cow! I can't drink 60 oz of anything in a day. I tried. I don't think I have ever had more than like 50 oz of water in one day--let alone soda! I think my stomach would explode. Hahaha. Good to know, though.
yep, it's a little embarrasing. i had 3.5, 18 ounce glasses for dinner. i'm glad it's not a regular coke addiction, or i'd have a whole other set of problems. but still, a little embarrasing. ;)
I'm right there with you...I'm glad to hear there are other runners with DC issues! I try to keep it tempered most days but eating out is always the hardest cuz they just keep fillin 'em up.
I was so good about not drinking DC when training for St. George. Canyonlands...a different story!
